Team Lust recently completed the supply and installation of a stunning 2m cube sauna in Darras Hall, Ponteland. Installed directly onto the customers’ patio, this premium outdoor sauna has created the perfect place for an incredible local couple to relax, unwind and enjoy the benefits of sauna bathing at home.
This project was not one of our most straightforward installations. It presented several logistical challenges, but careful planning, specialist equipment and the experience of Team Lust helped us deliver another successful result.
Overcoming a Challenging Sauna Installation
Every garden installation is different. Access restrictions, surrounding buildings, landscaping and ground conditions can all affect how a sauna is delivered and positioned.
For this property in Darras Hall, conventional access to the rear garden was not possible. Our installation team assessed the site and developed a strategy that would allow us to place the sauna accurately while protecting the customers’ patio, garden and surrounding property.
With the necessary arrangements in place, we positioned our lifting equipment in an adjacent farmer’s field. This gave us the reach and clearance required to carefully lift the 2m cube sauna into the garden and lower it directly onto the prepared patio.
The plan allowed us to:
- Overcome restricted garden access without dismantling the sauna.
- Position the unit accurately on its prepared base.
- Protect the patio and landscaping throughout the installation.
- Complete the delivery safely and efficiently despite the challenging location.
The result was a smooth, controlled installation with no damage to the customers’ garden or patio.
